Please read carefully as this contract limits our liability.
What Information Do We Collect? When you visit our website you may provide us with two (2) types of information: personal information about yourself that you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis, and website use information collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our website.
Personal Information You Choose to Provide. You may voluntarily provide us personally identifiable information. If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. Similarly, you may provide us with personally identifiable information about your clients, and if they choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of their email messages together with their email address and our responses.
Similar to other commercial websites, our website utilizes a standard technology called “cookies” (see explanation below, “What Are Cookies?”) and web server logs to collect information about how our website is used. Information gathered through cookies and web server logs may include the date and time of visits, information about how the Internet is accessed, authorized access of private areas of our website, the pages viewed, time spent at our website, and the websites visited just prior to coming to and just after departing our website. It is impossible for us, or anybody else, to see your Internet usage beyond that scope with the limited methods we employ. As a matter of Company policy and for the sake of limiting storage costs, all web log files are compiled into usable statistics each month, and then destroyed.
What Are Cookies? A cookie is a very small text document, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier. When you visit a website, that site’s computer asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designated for cookies. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser’s preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.
How Do We Use Information We Collect from Cookies? As you use our website, the site uses its cookies to differentiate you from other users. Cookies, in conjunction with our web server’s log files, allow us to calculate the aggregate number of people visiting our website and which parts of the site are most popular. This helps us gather feedback in order to constantly improve our website. Cookies do not allow us to gather any personal information about you, and any personal information that you provided to us is never stored in your cookies.
How Do We Use the Information That You Provide to Us? Broadly speaking, we use personal information for purposes of enhancing or modifying our site, administering and expanding our business activities, or responding to inquiries. Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our website or new developments. Please see “Email Communication” below.
Sharing Information with Third Parties. We only share information about our customers with members of our corporate family or companies outside our corporate family that perform services on our behalf. We share data provided by you, such as purchase and account data, credit history data, verifying data, and the like, as needed as part of our service to you in the case of identifying benefits or helping to secure financing. We do not share information about our former customers with companies outside our organization for them to contact you for their own marketing purposes. We do not share, sell, distribute, or in any other way communicate ANY personally identifying information collected on the Site with ANY third parties, except as authorized by you, as above. Your email addresses, and other personally identifying contact information is maintained in the strictest confidence.
How Do We Protect Your Information? How Do We Secure Information Transmissions? All electronic commerce transactional information is conducted within the office and not on the website, such as credit card authorization for credit reports and the social security numbers that accompany them. These are secured by latest 256-bit encryption over secured socket layer (SSL) transmissions, in adherence to international PCI (payment card industry) compliance standards for data security.
Please keep in mind that very few email relays utilize transport layer security (TLS) and therefore email is not recognized as a secure medium of communication. You should not send private or confidential information to us about yourself which may contain sensitive personally identifiable information like your medical history or social security number, by email or otherwise in connection with the Site.
Certain Disclosures We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to (a) conform to the law or comply with legal process served on us or parties affiliated with us; (b) protect and defend our rights and property, our Site, the users of our site, and/or our affiliated parties; and/or (c) act under circumstances to protect the safety of users of the site, us, or third parties.
Email Communication You may be contacted with offers of new products, information about rates and programs, services, or training opportunities for up to 36 months after your contact information had been originally acquired. We honestly try to limit the frequency of contact, though some categories of information (such as new financing plans available for limited time periods) may require more frequent updates. On every email communication with offers of new products, services, or training, you have the ability to be removed from our list of contacts with a single click in accordance with California State law. You are also afforded the ability to remove yourself from routine email contact by reply email, and by telephone at our toll-free number.
Questions and Updates If you have any questions or suggestions about our privacy practices, or you wish to update or correct any personally identifiable information that you have chosen to provide us, please feel free to contact us via form email under “Update Information ” on the Contact page.
