How Are Injectables Done?

BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal fillers are performed by quick injections. Most injectables involve the assistance of a numbing agent in the form of a topical cream. With this, most patients feel very comfortable and at ease. Injections are made with a very fine needle, causing minimal disruption to the skin’s surface. The fine needle will not scar the skin.

Patients should also avoid high-intensity athletics for at least 24 hours as this exacerbates swelling and bruising; however, you can return to your normal activities right away. It should be noted that the length of your recovery may change based on the treatments combined with your BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal fillers.
Since the injections are made with a fine needle, scarring does not occur. The skin at or near the injection site may experience some minor inflammation; however, this should subside quickly.
Your BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal fillers cost will depend on the amount of product used to correct the targeted areas.
